SUMIGRE

Supporting Professional Development of Migrant-related Educators (SUMIGRE) is an Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnership project in the field of adult education. The programme promotes cooperation for development of innovation and the exchange of good practices at European level. It aims at bringing positive and long-lasting effects on participating organisations and the educational system at local, regional, national and EU level.

The Consortium involves 7 partner organisations from 6 different countries, Turkey, Bulgaria,Hungary, Czech Republic, Netherlands and the UK.

The project aims to:

• support the professional development of migrant-related educators
• empower more NGOs to initiate actions aiming at producing solutions
• raise public awareness of the migrant issue and gain their support
• to build a network of NGOs, adult education providers, public authorities and policy makers to raise their awareness of the project theme and secure their commitment and increase cross sectoral collaboration.

In order to achieve these aims, in addition to the awareness-raising events and effective dissemination activities, the project will generate two intellectual outputs and implement an online training course for the target group.
