Adult Learning in Cultural Event (ALICE) is a Grundtvig partnership project financed by the European Commission in the frames of Life Long Learning Programme. The project is aimed at adult learners’ education in the frame of cultural promotion, organisation of cultural event (musical festival, theatre, historical revocation and so on). The idea is to develop transversal skills of these persons, especially for what concern the use of informatics supports (video conferences, slides presentation by computer etc), foreign languages (English) and information about how Europe helps cultural promotion (i.e. web sites, publications networks etc.) toward the direct practice.
The proposed activities include organisation of local workshops and four partner meetings (Italy, Romania, Spain, Bulgaria) in which the participants present cases of study (a cultural event they know or they organize) resulting in new instrument, process, ideas to improve the event/example presented.

The partnership coordinator is Fondazione Abruzzo Europa “A. Spinelli” (FAE “A. Spinelli”). Founded with the intent to cover a fundamental role in the relationship between Europe and Southern Italy, the Fondazione Abruzzo Europa represents the strong desire to take active part in the European challenge to the future, addressing and sustaining the development of “local” initiatives and realities, following “European” paths and expressions. The birth of the Foundation as an institutionally recognized reality, although recently founded, prides itself on the enthusiasm and the commitment of a solid Organizing Committee, consisting of figures of heterogeneous professional and cultural origin, supported by the Foundation Committee; each single figure, in harmony with the common project, brings his /her own professional experience to the development and the work of the Foundation itself.
COLEGIUL TEHNIC “GHEORGHE CARTIANU” (Romania)

The Technical College “Gheorghe Cartianu” from Piatra Neamt is located in a disadvantaged area. The learners are often people coming from disadvantaged groups, 50% of the adult learners have an increased risk of social exclusion, 10% of the learners have disabilities,10% of the learners are from ethnic gipsy population.
Centre culturel de Habay (Belgium)

The Cultural Centre is an association promoted and supported by local and regional authorities (French Community, City of Habay and the Province of Luxembourg). These three partners are present in the Board and finance the Centre. More local associations are also member of the General Meeting (GA). The Centre has four main objectives: organization of events (theatre, concerts), adult learning (foreign languages, painting, music, theatre, photography, self development, computer science…), support to local associations and theatre in schools.
CENTRO DE EDUCACION PERMANENTE “POLIGONO SUR” (Spain)

C.E.PER. “Poligono Sur” is located in the southern part of Seville in the centre of a social disadvantaged area of about 40.000 inhabitants and it is composed of 12 teachers and about 360 learners. The main goals are academic, social, cultural and labour formation, making a commitment to the neighbourhood for improving quality of life. Cultural promotion and ICT are some of the main subjects that C.E.PER. is working on.

Joint Stock Company “Greicio kontrole” is a local driving school for youth and adults (18 – 60).The aim of school is to give the proper theory and practical education for everybody who wants to be well social integrated to modern life and to became a good car driver.
